A escola União da Ilha do Governador teve destruídos um carro alegórico e 2.000 fantasias, e a Grande Rio, cujo barracão foi totalmente destruído, perdeu 3.300 fantasias e oito carros alegóricos. Pelos cálculos de Jorge Junior, cada carro alegórico custa, em média, aproximadamente R$ 500 mil.
